Has anyone had a larger wedding (40) at Sandals Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas and how was it?

Answer: NONONONONO This is not a nice Sandals...is it one of the nicer places in the bahamas yes but I hated this property. I was a travel agent for 6 years and I love Sandals if I knew more about you I could recommend a better location. The food wasnt very good the beach is ok it isnt the prettiest I have seen and one silly thing that bothers me is the fake flowers throughout the hotel,,,its in the carribean cant they grow real one!! One thing about sandals too is it is couples only so friends attending your wedding that are single can not stay there with you,,,they can stay adjacent at another hotel but not at yours,,,they can get a 24 hour pass which used to cost a fee but that is the day of the wedding and thats all,,,,it is not family friendly,.,if you want the bahamas for some reason check into The Atlantis....As far as weddings I sent my friend to Sandals in Jamaica for her wedding which she loved but they arent real forth coming with details there was alot she had included that she didnt know about and they really push the wedding pics,,,,get really upset if you take your own,,,hope this helped. email if you need any help : )
