Question: I need ideas on how to give a bedroom these qualities: Serene, Calming, Relaxing, Cool. All I can figure is blue walls, white accesories and furniture, and sheer white drapes. Any help?! Thanks to all! =)
Answer: The ideas you have so far are good, but I would add a little green too. It's best to have three colors in your palette and soft periwinkle blue, celery or sage green and white make a calm, soothing room. The sheer white drapes are good for spring and summer. In the fall and winter, layer them with another panel of either blue or green. Mixing stripes and florals in the same color family works well.
